In Turkish culture, there are many scientists and artists who enlighten the society with their creativity and works despite being visually impaired. In Turkish Folk Literature, elements related to nature have generally been preferred to describe the beloved with abstract expressions. While talking about the beloved in their works, bards have used elements of nature and then directly included nature as the subject of their poems. It is noteworthy that visually impaired bards produce works related to nature despite losing their ability to see at a certain stage of their lives or being visually impaired from birth. In this study, the poems of visually impaired bard Fehmi Gür have been examined in terms of vocabulary, and it has been tried to determine how he perceives nature and how he describes it despite not being able to see it. The study was conducted using a qualitative research method and a descriptive scanning approach. The research was limited to the poems in the book titled Arapgirli Folk Poet Fehmi Gür prepared by Ramazan Çiftlikçi. Fehmi Gür lived in the Arapgir district of Malatya, wrote his poems in syllabic meter and used his name as a pen name. He intensively dealt with the flaws, mistakes and social corruptions in society in his poems. The fact that intuition and feeling replace the ability to see in the works of Fehmi Gür, who is visually impaired, and his ability to describe nature with emotional intensity are remarkable. This situation reveals that not being able to see can turn from an obstacle into a source of motivation for artistic production. It has been determined that Fehmi Gür reflects the physical world in his works by feeding on the perception of nature or tradition he establishes in his inner world.
2025-05-17T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Educational and Social Scienceshttps://ijesos.com/index.php/pub/article/view/54Qualification Satisfaction Of College Students2025-04-21T15:06:54+03:00Nemet Rüstəmliturksoylu@mail.ruRamiz Nasirovramiz.nasirof@gmail.com
This study examines the quality of student recognition skills in colleges in different regions of Azerbaijan. In this context, the choice of department is closely related to a number of interests: personal, demand for various professions, family and social influences, as well as the quality of education provided at the university. Greater satisfaction also increases the likelihood of higher academic performance. Research results showed that the majority of students believed that the education they received would have a positive impact on their future career prospects and quality of life. At the same time, ambivalent and negative opinions emphasized the need to increase the practical components of educational programs, expand extracurricular activities and develop social-psychological support services. The results obtained may be useful in developing strategic development plans of universities and strengthening student-centered teaching approaches.
2025-05-17T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Educational and Social Scienceshttps://ijesos.com/index.php/pub/article/view/66Innovative Solutions in Education: Digital Transformation2025-05-06T13:50:56+03:00Ayşe Birhanlıayse.birhanli@inonu.edu.tr
This study examines the impact of the digital transformation process on education and its development in Turkey. Digital transformation involves reshaping business processes supported by innovations in information and communication technologies, providing effective solutions to societal needs, and driving significant transformations in many areas, including education. In the field of education, digital transformation has become a critical necessity for enhancing learning experiences through innovative methods, equipping individuals with digital skills, and improving educational environments. In this context, the integration of digital technologies into educational processes and the development of digital competencies constitute two fundamental steps. However, effectively implementing these processes requires a multifaceted approach involving infrastructure, teacher and student competencies, content development, and policy strategies. In Turkey, platforms such as the Education Informatics Network (EBA) and the Teacher Informatics Network (ÖBA) have played a significant role in implementing digital transformation in education. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the widespread adoption of distance learning systems marked significant progress in digitalization. However, according to the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) World Digital Competitiveness Ranking, Turkey has faced challenges in achieving the desired level in areas such as technology adaptation and digital competence. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of digital transformation on educational processes, identify the strategies needed to maximize its benefits, and evaluate Turkey's performance in digitalization. The importance of leadership, appropriate technology selection, digital literacy, and long-term planning for effectively managing digital transformation in education is emphasized. Digital transformation is highlighted not as a short-term change but as a continuous process of development. Accordingly, the research aims to thoroughly examine the theoretical framework and practical outcomes of digital transformation in education.
2025-05-17T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Educational and Social Scienceshttps://ijesos.com/index.php/pub/article/view/57Examination of the Innocents Apartment Series in the Context of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy2025-01-25T14:54:26+03:00Tuba Demirtuba96054@gmail.comMeryem Karaazizmeryem.kararaziz@neu.edu.tr
The series, adapted from Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu's novel “Inside the Medallion” published in 2004, deals with the tragic past and psychological conditions of 4 siblings and their father living in the same house in Istanbul. In this study, it is aimed to examine it in the context of the CognitiveBehavioral family therapy school. CBT describes the systematic application of learning theories and principles in the treatment and assessment of maladaptive behaviors or symptoms. The scenes in the series that were thought to correspond to these concepts were analyzed. Document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in this study. In CBT, it focuses especially on how family members feel, how they behave, how they think, and it is thought that this series, which contains examples suitable for the way they live in line with these values, will contribute to the psychological counseling process and the people who will receive training within the framework of the CBT approach.
2025-05-17T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Educational and Social Scienceshttps://ijesos.com/index.php/pub/article/view/50Evaluation of the Concept of Feminine from the Perspective of Carl Gustav Jung2025-01-26T22:46:42+03:00Ülkem Karakaşulkem.karakas@neu.edu.trMeryemmeryem.karaaziz@neu.edu.tr
Throughout human history, a patriarchal attitude has been exhibited in almost every society and field. There are many different ideas and interpretations on this subject. In the field of psychology, Carl Gustav Jung is a name that needs to be examined considering his works and comments on the concepts of masculine and feminine. Carl Gustav Jung is one of the most important names in the field of psychology and the pioneer of analytical psychology. The aim of this study is to examine the concepts Jung put forward in his theory and the concept of the feminine. The title of analytical psychology, the concept of archetype and archetypes under this title are examined and the concept of feminine is emphasized. Since masculine and feminine elements are combined in our human nature, a man can live in his feminine part and a woman in her masculine part. The main issue is to establish a balance between these two. The modern woman realizes her ability to give love by reaching the highest point of pleasure only when she feels unconditional love. It is envisioned that only in such an exchange of love can femininity emerge and the awareness beyond love can be reached.
2025-05-17T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Educational and Social Sciences
