IJESOS is an open access, academic and periodical publication published 2 times a year in the fields of education and social sciences. Blind refereeing system is applied in the journal. If one of the referees gives a positive opinion and the other a negative opinion, the editors make the decision about the publication of the article. IJESOS has a strict broadcasting approach against looting. Studies in the nature of research articles must have a maximum of 20% similarity when scanned in the plagiarism program, excluding the references. Articles with more similarity cannot be accepted for publication. However, this rate can be altered for exceptional texts like thesis summaries, compilations, work presentations, translations, etc. provided that the source is indicated and the aforementioned texts can be accepted for publishing. It is the responsibility of the author(s) to upload the plagiarism report to the system and ensure that it is at the desired rate. Articles submitted to IJESOS must not be published elsewhere or waiting for publication. The author(s) agree in advance to transfer the publication and copyright of the articles they send for publication to IJESOS which use Creative Commons (cc). The author(s) cannot demand any fees or other privileges for this reason. Published articles can be used by anyone, with attribution to IJESOS and the author(s).

IJESOS publishes articles dealing with various aspects of the Educational and Social Sciences. Seeing lifelong learning as an interdisciplinary field of study, it invites and welcomes contributions from anthropology, social science, demography, education, linguistics, translation studies, epidemiology, gerontology, economics, econometrics, management and organization science, policy studies, psychology, statistics, sociology and research methodology. Original empirical analyses, theoretical contributions, methodological studies, and reviews that are accessible to a broad set of readers are welcomed. Articles might focus on specific events and policy implications including their determinants and consequences or discuss segments of the life course, human behavior, social relationships, and society without restrictions over time and space.
