About the Journal

IJESOS is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year in the fields of education and social sciences. The journal employs a double-blind peer review process. In cases where one reviewer recommends acceptance and another rejection, the final decision is made by the editorial board. IJESOS maintains a strict publication policy against plagiarism and unethical practices. Research articles must not exceed a 20% similarity index (excluding references) in plagiarism detection software. Submissions exceeding this limit will not be considered for publication. However, this threshold may be adjusted for exceptional cases such as thesis summaries, compilations, conference papers, or translations, provided that proper citation is given. Authors are responsible for uploading the plagiarism report and ensuring compliance with the journal’s requirements. Manuscripts submitted to IJESOS must not be published or under review elsewhere. By submitting their work, authors agree to transfer publication and copyright rights to IJESOS under the Creative Commons (CC) license. No fees or privileges are provided to authors. Published articles may be freely used with appropriate citation to IJESOS and the author(s).

IJESOS publishes studies that explore diverse dimensions of Education and Social Sciences. Conceptualizing lifelong learning as an interdisciplinary domain, the journal’s scope extends to anthropology, social sciences, demography, education, linguistics, translation studies, epidemiology and statistics, gerontology, economics, econometrics, management and organization, policy studies, psychology, and sociology. We welcome high-quality empirical analyses, theoretical contributions, methodological innovations, and reviews accessible to a broad readership. Submissions may focus on specific events or encompass all stages of the life course—including associated conditions, relationships, and outcomes—irrespective of temporal or spatial constraints.
